Cuapa donations

Was enthusiastically received a donation of vestments and sacred vessels of the Sentinels Mary Cuapa the Archbishop of Managua, Archbishop Leopoldo Brenes. The donation that benefits more than 15 archdiocesan parishes, was delivered in the presence of all the clergy of the Archdiocese of Managua, by the Catholic marriage formed by Juan Bautista Cano and Ana Maria Cano, who run the Sentinels Catholic organization Mary Cuapa .

Archbishop Leopoldo Brenes thanked the Sentinels Cuapa and especially marriage Cano, for the donation made possible with the collaboration of John MaCormyk priest, pastor of the cathedral city of Orlando Florida, among other donors.

You will also be presented to Archbishop Brenes a Tabernacle which will be used for the Archbishop's Curia of Managua

Previously, we have also received a donation of several air compressors, but unfortunately are no longer available as it says in the article about Sanborn air compressor. Therefore, when we will be in need for their fix will have something to solve this. But anyway we are very thankful for this donation.

Cuapa Virgin Queen in his sanctuary

After 26 years, Cuapa Virgin Queen in his sanctuary after being blessed his image on 8 December at the site of the fifth appearance the seer Bernardo Martinez, October 13, 1980.

According to the review on the apparitions to Bernardo, on the site where once there was a pasture, near Cuapa, Chontales, Mary took the form of a peasant extending his hands, on stones and above them a Moorish and nubecita white.

For 25 years he was in the place of occurrence image of the Miraculous Medal, which is what Bernardo saw the May 8 of that year, now appears the other image.

In a church service in honor of the Conception of Mary, attended by parishioners of the town and pilgrims from different municipalities of Chontales and other parts of the country, the pastor of Cuapa, father Oscar Chavarria, spoke of the work done to bring the message Our Lady Peace.

To date, the parish by the sentinels of the Virgin of Cuapa, have distributed 2.5 million of prints and posts Catholics about the appearances by many parishes in the country and in Miami, United States.

During his homily, the priest thanked the Episcopal Conference for accepting the image and invite the Catholic faithful "to venerate the Virgin of Cuapa as described seer" so that his image was sculpted by Pedro Vargas.
